A fire at 42 Esson Road burned on March 28, leaving at least some of the triplex residents without a home and possessions. At least one resident was taken to Dartmouth General for observation, and at least two pets were under emergency veterinary care, as well.
The Pleasant Street Diner will reopen its doors on March 5, nearly a month after a fire tore through the former Sobeys property in the complex shared by the diner and other businesses.
The family impacted by the fire at 476 Renfrew Street made it out safely – but not without losing their home and all of their possessions in the March 2 blaze.
A fire has damaged part of a duplex on Renfrew Street. As of 6 p.m. the fire appeared under control; ambulances were at the scene. Chadwick and Renfrew were closed off earlier in the evening.
