Fire damages part of duplex on Renfrew Street
A fire has damaged part of a duplex on Renfrew Street. As of 6 p.m. the fire appeared under control; ambulances were at the scene. Chadwick and Renfrew were closed off earlier in the evening.
The Post confirmed on the morning of March 3 that the fire occured at 476 Renfrew Street.
The Post will share more details as they become available. This is the second structure fire in the neighbourhood in the last month, following the blaze at the former Sobeys building on Pleasant Street.
Correction: A previous version of this story erroneously referred to “86 Renfrew Street,” the old address before homes on Renfrew Street were re-numbered and that house number was retired. The story has been corrected. Thanks to Christian Ensslin for pointing out that the municipal maps were more up-to-date than Google.
