Advertise with us

Published by the not-for-profit Pleasant-Woodside Neighbourhood Association, the South Dartmouth Post currently prints every other month and distributes 750 free-to-take copies in public spaces and businesses throughout old/central Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We welcome advertisements from local businesses, officials, organizations, and anyone looking to promote something in the Post.

Web and e-newsletter ads are included for free with the purchase of a printed ad, to run online for a period of time coinciding with the printed issue’s run on newsstands.

Purchasing an ad in the Post confers no benefit other than placement of the ad and has no impact on the editorial content of the publication.

To place an ad or ask further questions, contact Brian Foster at ads@southdartmouth.ca.

  • Multi-level marketing
  • Inflammatory or hateful subject matter
  • Campaign ad for an upcoming election (so as not to be confused with endorsement)
  • “Advertorials” and other ads that look like editorial content

Where does my money go?

All advertising funds are paid to the Pleasant-Woodside Neighbourhood Association and support the operating budget of the association. This includes but is not limited to the printing costs of the newsletter, neighbourhood cleanups and events, and other operational expenses approved by the PWNA board.
